EMFs an invisible force. People who desire to maintain good health will eat healthier food, exercise, take supplements and avoid harmful substances. Yet, even those actively working on their health often overlook an influence that may be having an adverse effect on them. That influence is electromagnetic frequencies or EMF’s.
We are immersed in a sea of EMF’s in modern society. Cell phone towers and cell phones, radio and tV signals, Bluetooth and WiFi, satellite signals, radar, high voltage power lines and even household wiring and appliances emit EMFs. WiFi, Bluetooth and cell phones have become a universal part of our culture, and people often spend large amounts of time each day using these devices, which means that the EMF’s the average person is exposed to today are radically different than what theyw ould have been exposed to, even a few decades ago.
Although we don’t know what the consequences of this will be, there is a growing body of research which suggests excessive exposure to EMFs is harmful. Very little fo the research done over the past 25 years on this subject gets reported to the general public and what is reported is often contradictory. Some studies suggest EMFS are harmless, while others indicate they are harmful. Learn more in this month’s Sunshine Sharing.
EMFs | Sensitivity
EMF Sensitivity is somewhat controversial, however the debate on whether or not it exists seems to be lessening. According to the World Health Organization, they believe that the symptoms of EMF Sensitivity are real and do exist. However, they just aren’t sure that their sole cause is directly related to electromagnetic pollution. On the other hand, the Environmental Health Center in Dallas (EHC-D) feels that EMF Sensitivity does exist. The EHC-D feels these symptoms are related to one’s environmental conditions. They also stated that the symptoms can include irregular heart beats, fatigue or chronic fatigue, headaches, dizziness, tingling sensations, achy muscles, muddled thinking, and your eyes or skin may be irritated or sensitive. The EHC-D also offers treatment, however, their treatments are not for the symptoms, they are to help with the cause. No doubt that EMF’s stimulate our nervous system and the reaction to them varies by person.
Those are symptoms I can relate to after dealing with my own EMF Sensitivity. When I first was diagnosed with RSD/CRPS, and would go into a store with all the lights, the noise, the electricity I would have problems. Suddenly, I would feel agitated and very ill. I would get a headache, break out into a sweat, get dizzy and feel like I was going to pass out. I almost always had to leave the store without being able to purchase the items I originally went there to get. During one of our chronic pain support group meetings, I shared this with the others. They too said they had experienced similar things. I was surprised to hear that at first, however, chronic pain places a high demand on your nervous system. Your nervous system can become overloaded under too many stressors.
EMF Products
Due to this sensitivity, I searched out products that maybe could help me with this sensitivity. I came upon the Q-Link products which seemed to give me more energy and an overall feeling of balance. The products did not treat my individual symptoms, however, I felt the products helped balance the energy fields around me. I actually still use their products today. Q-Link offers pendants, bracelets, chips for your phones and laptops. I have helped many others with these products as well. I also use the E-Power Machine which promotes balance and gives the body energy with its high frequency, negative potential energy.
Nervous System Support
Since electromagnetic sensitivity seems to effect our nervous system. Supporting our nervous system seems to make sense. You have to remember that we are energy and our body is truly amazing! It is equipped with strategies to handle everything from fear to microbes to toxins! So keeping our body healthy and strong will help us deal with all types of situations, including excessive amounts of electromagnetic pollution. I am not saying you won’t have symptoms, however, the healthier you are, the easier it is for your body to handle and cope with things. Here are a few tips to help support a healthy nervous system.
- Practice deep breathing to calm and restore your body.
- Make sure to limit stimulating foods like sugar, caffeine, alcohol, and processed foods. Your body doesn’t need more toxins/chemicals.
- Eat whole foods, complex carbohydrates, healthy fats and lean meats.
- Eat lots of greens including algae, spirulina and grasses. Try adding a green drink to your day.
- Drink water. Our cells need to be hydrated to do their many tasks.
- Consider adding some supplements to support your nervous system. B-vitamins, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants.
