Living with Chronic Pain Learning Center

Practical strategies, healthy habits, and natural wellness approaches to help improve your quality of life.

Living with chronic pain is about much more than managing symptoms. During the years I led a chronic pain support group through the American Chronic Pain Association (ACPA) and the U.S. Pain Foundation, we discussed many topics to help us work through the emotional, physical, and practical challenges of living with persistent pain. While the topics followed somewhat of a support group curriculum, the insights, examples, and practical strategies shared here in these lessons come from my own journey living with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), years of supporting others with chronic pain, and my background as a Certified Natural Health Professional, Herbalist, Aromatherapist, and Gut Health Nutrition Specialist.

Whether you just developed chronic pain or have been living with it for years, understanding your condition is one of the most important steps, and that is why I created this free educational resource, Living with Chronic Pain Learning Center, designed to help you better understand chronic pain, how it affects your whole body, and practical ways you can improve your health and quality of life.

My approach has always been to look beyond managing the symptoms. It’s focused on supporting the person as a whole, developing healthier lifestyle habits, and the body’s natural ability to heal to improve overall health and quality of life. My hope is that as you work through these lessons, you’ll gain knowledge, encouragement, and practical tools that empower you to take small, consistent steps toward one healthy habit at a time.
